Yea I tried too and the video quality gets downgraded. Possibly to this resolution: H.264 / H.263, one of those.

@@Blindconnection i don't have an Instagram account. Do you know if he would be able to recover data off of Maxtor hdd? It has a bad stylus arm but the 3 platters are fine. This is the 2nd Maxtor that has quit on me like this. I bought them at them at the same time. Seagate and WD are the only one s I will use from now on. Thanks in advance.

I noticed in your later steps that you said, before saving, have the video playing - I hadn't and it didn't give me the save video option. Hello, everyone! This trick is still working fine, you just need to change "web" or "www" to "mbasic" instead of "m". This instruction is perfect; no added software, just follow the instruction (save it in Pocket) - I've looked for a way to download facebook video files for quite a while.
