I just started play this game after the release of 145. And have come to the realization that the downloading of mod's via the internet's various sites, is more of an obstical course than it worth. And now just rely on the various mods I find available via steam. Though steam doesn't have all the possible mods available. I can choose any mod faster, and subscribe faster. And if it doesn't work for what ever reason just as the mods that one has to endure an obstilcal course to find and download will work or not. After paying for my gaming pc, the game and all of the available DLC's, a G920 wheel, shifter etc etc etc. I'm not going to pay for a mod that because it may interfer with another, not utilize it. New mods are added to steam everyday. I just wait until one I want is available, and simply subscribe. Finding it actually sucks, can unsuscribe just as quickly.

Thank you for the very useful explanations. Quick question... I recently got the game and have been just clicking "play ATS" when I launch through Steam and haven't had any issues. Should I be selecting Launch with Directx11? Graphics card is an RTX 3080

hey buddy , your very welcome. If you have not had any issues just continue what your doing. But if your ever see your mirrors are black and your tires look like chrome then use the dx11 selection

I followed your step by step instructions which were awesome thank you btw. But when I added it my MOD on ATS it never came up when I went to apply it to my truck. What should I do ?

you will need to be more specific, there alot of different components of what could be wrong. or that it could actually be working you just are not in the right spot to find it. Which mod ? Which truck? Do you have the correct truck for that mod? Is the mod up to date in 1.42? Is the truck up to date? If you can answer the first two questions at least ,it would narrow things down.

So don't watch it. Something you must understand about a tutorial, not everyone knows as much as you (or i) sometimes the little things you or I take for granted because we just know it are missed by other who are new. I also give an "out" 5-6 min for those who are experienced.

@@angryjgaming I should be more patient your right. However I did just get an idea to help your videos. At the end of each video you should just do a really quick tutorial without really explaining everything your doing just show people that are more experienced how its done exactly. I'm not sure what an "out" is but that might be exactly what I just explained.

I use to be able to use my mods but now for some reason they are not working now they were all erased and I tried doing it again and says no mods present even though I have the mods in the mod folder

Mod conflict, whatever the last mod you added take it out. 99% of all problems are a mod conflict.

make sure the mod is up to date for whatever version of the game you are playing on. also check the dealership for mod trucks (read the description of the mod it might tell you where to find it)

If it downloads as an Scs it stays scs, if it downloads a folder it stays a folder
