This is hilarious, because i was also using ventoy so i can boot windows 7 VHD file because it still has good community support still and supports few programs like Microsoft office 2016 with SP1 installed. so i can carry a copy of windows on the go. i also use Mozilla Firefox on windows 7 extended support release 32-bit

On a hard drive it could take more than an hour, on an SSD it will be a bit faster, maybe half an hour.

You should always be backing up all your files and data to an external hard drive so you'll never be worried about losing anything. So there shouldn't be an issue
