How to Download Paradox Mods in Cities Skylines 2

I think the reason why there is no rating system is because a mod may stop working after a game update..... and before the mod maker gets a chance to fix it (because weekend, vacation, work, life, kids, sick, whatever) players may start to 1-star the mod because it is broken. Then a week later, the mod maker is back from vacation and starts updating his mod...... and it went from 4.8 stars to 3.4 stars that week because people trashed it for not working. And that is difficult to overcome...... more or less that it is a massive issue to overcome the "mostly negative" rating on steam. That will take the rest of the year, no doubt, even if the next few patches fix it all.....

I’m about to make a Reddit post about this. I can’t download any of the mods in the game. I can access the mods page, attempt to download it, and then a pop up says “the mod is unable to download”. It’s really pissing me off

Today I had this problem with the game Cities Skylines 2. When I saw that they added the possibility to install mods from Paradox company directly through the launcher, right in the game, I went to download them. I downloaded 4 pieces, like everything was installed normally, even went into my save and played. But after re-entry, began to load some additional files, and then I lost the main menu and instead of it is now an empty ocean on which I can move the camera and everything.

Performance issues are no longer and issue since December. And yeah this update should have those economy problems fixed.

Just be sure to realize that you will only get limited mod support on consoles, mods that "mess" with the game code, are unlikely to be available on console, so no MoveIt, etc. Assets and Maps will definitely be available on console, unless a certain map has some sort of mod dependency..... But if you want the full modding experience, you should probably get/invest in the PC version.
