Managed to finally upload my svg but when i go to 'ungroup' both ungroup and weld buttons are faded out so it won't let me click on them. Any ideas please? 🤔🤦🏾‍♀️thanks for the video X

It depends on the design/ designer! If the designer didn’t design it to be ungrouped, it may come in all as one layer. You can use a rectangle and select the image and the rectangle and choose slice to slice apart the image. Weld is only available when two images are selected.

Hello I just found your tutorials and I think I can follow you. I have a older MacBook Pro and design space I own a Cricut maker and the air. I’m planning on using the maker for this project. Would you make a tutorial on downloading from Etsy for print then cut. I buy many items from My Porch Prints I print them off on my printer then sit down with my scissors and cut them out. I want to cut them out with my maker of course! Can you help me? Thank you in advance.

How about when you order SVG files that are editable monograms, I assume it would be a diff way to EDIT right ? I am new to CRICUT and trying to figure out how to enter a NAME into the monogram SVG file I purchased on ETSY (says The Family - I want to make the empty space our last name, MILLS) Going to keep searching on YOU TUBE and hope I find it :-) THANK YOU for this video VERY helpful as I just orders some FONTs too :-)

If I were the designer- I’d imagine that the svg contains all of the alphabet in each orientation. And then you select the letters you need and arrange them appropriately! And the same thing for the last name- youd find the letters for your last name and arrange them! Once you’re happy- select everything and attach and you’re good to cut!

I just downloaded a zipped file from etsy and I have a Mac so it unzipped it but the file types are otf, ttf, and woff. I tried an online file converter from ttf to svg but nothing shows up on the new svg file. What can I do to get this to work?

You downloaded an actual font! Double click on the otf file and install the font on your computer. Reopen design space and the font will be in your system fonts :)

HEEELLLPPP!!! I bought a font off of Etsy and the SVG file has all the letters and numbers as each individual letters instead as one image. Is there any way to upload them as one image instead of adding every single letter/number as a separate image for each. I want to make a shirt but the SVG wont come up like it did with the fresh linens image. I really need help, each letter will take me a long time.

Message the seller! They should be able to combine them into one file for you. Did you check to see if there is a full set file included?

Thank you so much for this video. PS Business Edition is a game changer. Everything is a breeze. I looovvveeee SVG files which is basically one the main reasons I upgraded to business edition and I have zero regrets. Free demos and free softwares are not bad IMS but if you want the "IT" especially for business owners, just save up and upgrade period. There are too many pecks on it and too much juice and sauce nobody should miss out from.

You don’t need to upload it to cricut! Install it on your device. Once installed, close out cricut and reopen it :)
