Hi, appreciate your sharing of knowledge through this video. If I may ask you my doubts regarding this, I wanted to know, when you cut the neckline shape, your ready shoulder on back block didn’t go small then the ready shoulder on front block… ? Since, I think, I saw you taking more neck wide cut on back from shoulder line than the front … pls tell me did the shoulder of both the blocks front and back match and don’t we have to take extra margin on seams for the stitching as well. Your video was very informative and can you please explain the stitching also… thanks a ton for your effort.
@joanzsews3 ай бұрын
Hy friend, yes I took 1 inch on both the back and front shoulder to make my neck wider....check from 19:20 in the video

Thanks but why the breast dart at the front? Throw more light please 😊
@TocaRoyyАй бұрын
The back is S-shaped and doesn't have bust. Therefore, the back should be shorter than the front bodice. The purpose of the side dart is to lift the front bodice from the side so that it will coincide with the back bodice on the side seam. The dart also makes the bodice adhere more to the stomach area. Therefore, giving the bodice a more flattering look.
