For me, I use 3 inches for Slim people and 4 inches for a medium size and 5 to 6 sizes for a plus size. Depending on your client, I will advice you measure around the knee circumference of your Client, you will tell them to walk a bit, then take the knee measurement. Or you use the measurement I stated earlier. Hope you're cleared

No The two side seams are of the same length, it is only the center back (zipper side) that looks longer, which will allow your butt sit perfectly well. Hope you understand

So sorry I replied late, I thought I had replied earlier. For your question, you can come down by either 6 or 7 inches from your hip line depending on how big your butt is. This is for an average-size. 8 inches might work for a very plus size with a bigger butt. Don't know if you are cleared Thanks
