After watching this I realized why Mercedes recommends using air to suck out the oil through the dip stick tube. I came here hoping to learn and save some money but after watching you remove all the undercarriage protection, I think I prefer to spend the money lol …thanks for the video.

This is weird. My 2019 e300 doesn't require the middle spashguard be removed, only the front one. The oil pan is in front of the cross bar.

Sorry for the late response: I just added that information- thank you for your comment. I hope you were able to get some help with that information. With oil and filter replaced: It takes 7 liters (7.39 quarts)

Don’t you have to put the car into a mode to change the oil prior to changing it ?

No requirement to be put on a mode for an oil change
