Did my oil Change again got 1 gallon of the glorious signature series but I switched from mobile 1 filter to wix Xp wow night and day start up sound fresh from oil change, with mobile 1 it made a nasty screech even with filter full of oil, I tried out the wix xp filter that sound was eliminated, wix makes the filters for amsoil so I figure might give them a try, but when my car gets older and more paid off I’ll extend my drain intervals and get the amsoil filter for when I go long intervals

Sweet thanks again James! Even the regular Wix filters are accilent and they're good for 10,000 miles and you can get those through Amsoil oil with your PC membership. I have a question. Let’s say you put the oil thinning additive. When you do a oil drain, you will never remove 100% of the oil, and consequently the oil thinner as well. When you put the new oil, some of it will mix with the new oil, and so won’t that deteriorate the new oil?

The amount that stays in the oil pan is insignificant. Nothin to fret about😉

I would love to see an actual fool service on a modern Benz. Brake replacements, oil changes, air filter replacements, spark plugs ect.

It's all very basic the big thing you'll want is a C-clamp to press the calipers back on the brakes and that is far as spark plugs and stuff all you do is take off all the plastic covers on the engine and most of them you take the coil out and that's really it I mean the full service on one of those cars is not that hard a really good mechanic can do it in about 4 hours

What oil change interval are you recommending for this Mercedes when using Amsoil?

If it was my car I would go about 10,000 mi of normal driving I would change the oil filter at 5,000 the first oil change just to get all the carbon deposits out I would also do the engine flush and the PI performance improver every 4,000 mi. The engine flush is used only the first time when switching over to Amsoil that helps get the carbon around the rings out and the oil cooler ports and really helps keep the turbos from boil coating.

I have the same exact car. Great instructions. How often do you recommend changing the oil and filter in these cars...Dealer told me every 10k miles. Is there any other 30k mile services you recommend?

Yeah I would do the air filter rotate your tires basically just the simple stuff change the cabin air filter. I would do the PI performance improver fuel additive.. I would also get one case of the upper cylinder lubricant. I would run high quality fuel like Chevron or Shell. I would get a really good high-quality tire like a Toyo praxis sport tires
