It's ridiculous how simple the advice was, and how much it changed my circles! I've always been using my wrist

Once the mechanics were described me, I was able to draw an almost perfectly round shape. I was so shocked how easy it was once I understood how my body was supposed to react. Thank goodness her videos like this!!

great advise, locking the wrist is very helpful. Better circle instantly. I stand and an easel to make sure I use my shoulder, when I sit down I tend to go no further than the elbow. Drawing while standing was very uncomfortable at the beginning.. but it has been weeks now and already starting to get the hang of it.

I always liked the episode of SpongeBob, where Squidward is teaching him to draw a perfect circle. SpongeBob makes a finished drawing of a head, erases the details, then erases the contour lines until hes left with just a circle, basically the reverse of how you build up to a finished drawing.

I was teaching freshmen years ago and I promised one day I’d tell them some philosophy. So one day, I spent 15 minutes telling them about the period at the end of the sentence (a sacred circle) and what it signifies. What I learned: don’t waste Grad-level philosophy on freshmen! 😆

Please show the position of your shoulder, just showing the drawing of the circle on paper doesn't help in making out the movement of your shoulder, so please simultaneously show your movement of the shoulder while drawing the circles.
@nikia59745 жыл бұрын
Finally someone agrees with me! All these artists don't show the moment of their shoulders when drawing circles only their hands. It's not helpful if you don't teach HOW to move your shoulder along with your hands. It's not how to split the screen to show both. 😒

Hello, I enjoy your videos. I am a beginner. I started with learing adult coloring via KZbin, and realized that I really need to learn how to draw. First dilemma, I am very heavy handed and for the life of me cannot get a light pressure for techniques like scumbling, hatching, etc. I've tried moving my fingers to the end of the pencil; but to no avail? Can you do a video for beginners like me or give advice. I am trying to use my shoulder more. Thank You. Cordially, Avis.
