Hey, Mark. ❤ I just wanted to say that I really enjoy your videos, and I have been for so long. You were the first KZbin channel I started watching and subscribed to all the way back for over a decade. One of the first videos I watch was your "How to draw a realistic eye." I remember my niece and I watching the video over and over trying to draw it. I remember that night very well. I was so young. I still have the drawing of my attempt...many years later, and all the other drawings I used that method. I can say that my drawing has vastly improved since that night thanks to you. Shading was something I really struggled with back then. Now it is so easy thanks to you. Hair and clothes were also such obstacles for me back then. Feet and hands as well were so difficult. So many things I struggled to draw and I thought I would never get good, but you helped me in every case. Now, I can confidently say that I am much better thanks to you. I still have all my sketches and attempts from all your lessons. I still remember when you mentioned my question in a Q&A video. I was very excited. I have a difficult-to-pronounce name, but you said it right...after a few attempts, lol. I was so happy. I think I was thirteen or fourteen years old then. Also, so many iconic characters on the channel like Old Man Time Lapse, the Brooklyn surfer, Captain Indicate, and many more. Also, black prisma colour is a powerful tool. Also FRECKLES on every drawing! Thanks to you so many of my characters had freckles, haha. I still use the methods you taught on how to draw freckles. I realized that I do not comment often, but I am always tuning in to watch your videos every Friday since the beginning while trying to draw if I can. Thank you so much for the many years of your lessons, Mark. I will forever appreciate them. Have a great weekend and stay safe. ❤

It’s been a solid decade since I was really into drawing. Came to your page to see what you were up to, and I am appalled at the subscriber count! ONLY 3 million?? Mr. Crilley!! You deserve so many more!! For YEARS you have been guiding so many artists. We owe you everything 💗 you feel like my KZbin dad. Ily

you always remind me that I should take a little more time studying things. I've been sketching away quickly without thinking the past months and haven't really improved. Watching your careful shading and thinking is a really good thing to learn as well. I'll get on with it now x)

that's a very good tip. I remember watching "How to be a Successful artist" or something like that, from the Blender channel, and he talked about consciousness learning, where focus on what you're learning, not just scanning, but consciously understanding and taking in what you're learning.

Mark, i absolutely love your content, so much so that your videos really are too short!! imho perhaps consider making them longer, it’s also perfectly fine to draw in real time with silence or music, and speak only when you feel like it. we love you and want more content from you, and what i’m suggesting here would satisfy your fans while not even requiring extra effort from you.

Love the video sir. I know it sounds crazy but would really love to see the entire video of you doing one of these drawings. Maybe u could post full length along with shorter for people who don’t want to watch full length. I think a lot of people would watch a full length video tho sir. Even if I don’t want to talk the entire time, wouldn’t matter. We would listen to u blabber... lol. Maybe start doing them also please!!!??! Thanks and stay safe and healthy mark. Have a nice day my friend. ✌️👍

Hey Mark, I've followed you for a lot of years now and I love your videos, but I feel like you don't give enough space to drawing men. Also, I'd love to see you draw people with different kind of noses, eyes, lips, jaws... I feel like the people you draw all look alike. I'm one of those people who love drawing very weird looking character and I'm fond of "greek" and "roman" noses, droopy eyes and square jaws. Also, I would really love to see a video where you explain how to draw Adam's Apples correctly in different positions. I hope you read this message and give you ideas for new videos to come! Bye!
