Crazy mark is still making videos. I was big into them a few years ago but hadn't really watched in sometime so I checked the channel out and here we are. It takes some impressive dedication to keep the creativity going through so many years and videos.

It does! Now I'm thinking about the psychology behind it. Why does lighting like this give off such a creepy vibe?

@RMeitzen3 жыл бұрын
If you had drawn this in black paper or added a black background it would make the shading pop out even more in my opinion, adding to the spookiness. Regarding doing more of these videos, I'm all for it, the unusual lighting helps me understand the planes of the face better.

You're such a good artist. Thank you for all your videos. So amazing to watch.
@joblakh3 жыл бұрын
I think the ears would be shaded darker, almost completely actually. Most of the time you'd get that lighting by holding a flashlight under somebody's face, certainly most references would be made that way, and that would cause shadows to be cast diagonally the further from the center of the face you go. I think this might also be why the outer edges of the brow are darker and why the sides of the face are almost completely covered in shadow.
