Don't know if you'll ever see this message but I am so thankful I found this video. Earlier today I woke up with the intent on practicing profile/side view. All day I struggled and it came out looking BAD. I really questioned my talent and I gave up. It was 2 something in the morning that I decided to search youtube for a tutorial and give it another go.... I've watched tutorials all day but I guess I was a bit optimistic. Long story short, I watched your video and actually was able to draw a cute side/view character, and the thing I thought was so cool was I translated this video into drawing a boy, he came out really good and I'm going to sleep really happy and proud of my work. I'm so glad I didn't give up and found your video. I love art, thank you for making this tutorial.

I love how for all your tutorials you just start off with basic shapes! When you start with something as simple as a circle it is so much easier for me because you go step by step by starting out with just shape then slowly starting to make a face.
