Us too. Though, we had a picture on our phone and when you go to edit you can put the grid on it so we screen shotted it, then made a 3x3 grid on our paper and just eye balled it from there.

I had used the grid (without the dots) when I was 14 to do a self portrait (first human ever drawn) but I made a bigger grid (so for a A4 paper I had 4x6 squares)

I'm not really a fan of the grid method my teacher always made me do it. I couldn't rub the grid put fully so my pictures would always have lines on them. I prefer free hand. But some people really like the grid method

lily loveless You could open the picture you want to draw in an editing software where you can edit photos or pictures. And then draw these lines in this program! There must be a ruler function as well so you know your grid has the right size
