Drawing nature is incredibly relaxing for me. I've been drawing ever since I can remember and I've figured out a lot on my own, but your videos have made my drawings really come to life lately! Thanks a lot Tyler, I'm definitely a fan.

I know that art classes in general can be expensive and hard to find depending on where you live. So this offers as a great alternative I feel and I am just glad that so many people are finding the channel and supporting it so much. It is really an awesome experience.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to write to me. I am very similar to what you have explained here. Except for a few college courses, I have always been doodling and what I know is mostly self taught. I have always loved landscapes over anything else because of the creative freedom that you have. You can really personalize your work to your liking and still have it look the way you intended it to. It is a lot of fun :)

It probably is, but each tree is usually slightly different from another. It is more of a guideline more than anything else so that others trying to replicate it have a "place holder" to keep things in line.

That is great to hear! I have seen you comment quite a lot recently and I only just now fully read your user name and I like it haha. Most of the time I can't even pronounce peoples user names so I usually pay more attention to the avatar more than anything else.

I have one done that I did the other day on the Northern Lights. I have to edit that one and it will be uploaded in the coming weeks. I don't want to exhaust my stockpile of videos too fast because I can't always produce content. School is taking up so much of my time haha. I want to try and do more of those as well because I know I have a following here just because of those.

What I found to work very well is taking a graphite stick (at least 2b or lower) and get a knife an scrape it on to a paper. It works very well. Be easy.

It is a long video for a rather simple subject. It all depends on how many levels of detail you wish to have in the drawing. I chose to go the extra mile for this one. I try not to rush the process.
