We’ll draw our Gingerbread man a little slower this time, then we’ll dive into colour!
Let me show you how to colour your Gingerbread man in two simple steps. First we’ll paint him using water colour pencil techniques,, then Coloured pencils on top.
Art Materials:
Plain paper to create your Gingerbread man drawing (if you haven’t already)
1 ordinary HB or 2B graphite pencil,
Watercolour paper
Derwent Inktense pencils (or watercolour paints) #1800 Baked Earth, #0200 Sun Yellow, #1200 Sea Blue, #0400 Poppy Red Derwent Procolour (or other harder pencil) #55 Burnt Umber, #12 Primary Red, #49 Grass Green Cup of water, plastic plate or palette, paper towel, Derwent watercolor push-pen (or paint brush) Posca white pen (or any white acrylic paint, gel pen, etc for highlights.)
