Very realistic and yet artistic. The result is absolutely amazing. I liked the wintery colors as they gave a sensation of coldness. As for the little twigs, your steady brush strokes gave them liveliness and tinted them with warmth. I have always found it difficult to start up with a bird's head. Now, your video has enlightened me to use your method of dotting the head and the feathers as to give an indication for feathers' existence. Awkward enough, our bird has died this morning. I felt this video was in its memory. Thank You!

Why do you choose sepia over a single pigment color like burnt umber? They look similar in the video.

Always a good idea to do a few sketches before painting to work out the best composition. Then transfer a light outline sketch to watercolor paper
