Shading with pencils is a lot of fun and once you get the hang of it isn't as hard as it looks. In this video we talk about drawing with a pencil, different types and lead hardness and how to get a nice pencil gradient when shading.

My absolute favorite part of this is when you do the backgrounds. I often felt ashamed and frustrated when doing background or maybe just filling something big in the same shade and the lines are visible and I'd end up comparing my progress to the "smoothness" of others or how the lines look almost invisible while mine looks like a hut weaving pattern but seeing you just go for it really helps boost the confidence.
