if you want actual tears on your doll take clear nail polish on a tooth pick and draw them on like that. You can add some black or whatnot for the effect for running makeup if you like ^u^

You and me have a lot in common, like how you said you went to a class for real life drawing and visual arts and you were more into anime, even I go to Baltimore School for the Arts for visual arts, but I want to learn more anime, and they helped me open my eyes, along with the other doll makers, I want to become a famous anime artist when I grow up but also I found a dream to make costume dolls. Desislava Kyoseva you can find cheap dolls to practice on on amazon, ebay, or if you're lucky, a local yard sale/swap meet

Desislava Kyoseva I made a custom doll that the head and body was new and i messed up badly but you can take the drawed on face off easy by putting it in hot water but to take the factory paint off you need to use acetone or nail polish remover

Actually, even after MSC, you can still remove your practice doll face if you're unhappy with it with acetone.

I've been drawing anime for a long while. Since the release of Sailor Moon here in the states, though back then it was a whole lot harder to find and a whole lot more expensive. They are just so much more expressive and detailed then the art work that comes out of America. Your style is beautiful. You put so much life into the eyes without copying it. Great job!

Actually you can mix between mouths and eyes to make diferent expressions. For example, angry eyes and smile create an evil smiling look. That-is-awesome

One way to do a fear drop is to use hot glue and use it on the face , but test it out on a round surface first. Once the hot glue dries it will become some what transparent. You can leave it like that as a realistic effect or choose to paint it.

+Serenity Bunnysun thank you so much. Try to be careful on the second eye. Usually, the first eye we draw are perfect, then the second tends to flop. I know this for a fact since most of my repaints arent completely symmetrical :)

Ohh k I thought u we’re going to demonstrate drawing those eyes on dolls, building layers, what colours to lay first like in acrylic painting, if you want your blues to pop, you lay a base of red ochre or brown down first, I’m just trying to get the eyes correct first, on the doll, so I’ll save this for later in case I start sketching my design out first
