why does it look better than the actual reference its so polished and aesthetic ♥♥
@SmartyPoohBear8 ай бұрын
Right! Somehow all the extra lines makes the face look so much more attractive.
@KrakenEyeGaming8 ай бұрын
The loomis method uses idealized proportions. I will agree that the sketchiness shows the construction underneath. Kind of like an organized mess, which can be appealing. But the method itself is meant to make a perfect face, even if the reference you are using isn’t perfect (because no one is)
@ioverslept.6 ай бұрын
@@KrakenEyeGaming for it to even be a "perfect" face you would have to do the method perfectly, which is basically never happening, especially if you're drawing from a reference
@sammy-dk8vh2 ай бұрын
It’s because of the method being used. The face will resemble the actual person but the proportions are prefect in terms of cimeteical distance if that makes sense. It’s more aesthetic
@rd3munna812Ай бұрын
@@KrakenEyeGaming you can use this method and exaggerate the actual reference

Bro i was analyzing your tought process in this video and its so Clever that you Focus on the nose bottom,marks the height between mouth and nose,how you draw the mouth and the eye socket, it was way better to think like this when i was exercising figure drawing

Bruh, the way that sketch is polished is amazing. Love it❤

I found it best to look at where the jawline to the ear meet and do a medium sized curved live from the middle part of the ear. I have no idea how to explain it better than that I'm sorry if it doesn't help I tried my best haha 😭😂 I just finished the drawing tonight and am honestly happy with how mine turned out.

Wow I think I might have been doing an incomplete loomis method this whole time. I usually tried circle lines for the head and across then used a tad more guidelines for the face but it looks like I forgot the ear circle part which might be why I was struggling with drawing certain angles.
