oh I love the old artists portrait work too! In my opinion you did an amazing job of making her your own but yet keeping her in that old style!

Your video’s are so inspiring❤! Just a few weeks ago I started doing this exact thing being inspired by a portret of Josephine, Napoleon’s wife! My style is pencil drawing or watercolor because I find that for me it does more justice to the delicate features in these portraits. I then combine it by the style you offer in order to keep the looseness that I really need to practice! I appreciate how you encourage your viewers to find their own style🙏

I guess that all of us who follow you are 100 % with you in the process with both understanding and admiration. You are so generous, and time after time you create miracles in front of our eyes. 🌟🙏❤️ (Think invoice is possible?)

Still trying to figure out my 'style.' I like trying to get close to the (1960s usually) reference picture I use(not hyper-realistic close), but your videos have me wonder and want to loosen up more. I guess with art you just need to experiment and have fun! 😁 I love the finished drawing! I also have been thinking I should try and go back further than the 60s.

I agree that it is hard to shade with markers sometimes. I’ve had that happen, but I’m still just practicing , not trying to duplicate fine art😅. This lady is quintessentially you. Love the nose and lips. She’s a beauty. Wonder how long it took the artist to paint this! Definitely more than 20 minutes…

Can you do a quick video....doing this same painting BUT with your super basic instruction whereas you utilize two circles and the cross in the face to balance the features Please Please WE love your colors and techniques
