How to Draw Faces with BIC Pens

In this drawing video I draw several faces and talk about my process. I use bic pens to draw each face. These sketches where completed in 20 minutes and are part of my daily sketchbook series.

These look great. It's really cool to see your process on how you tackle portraits. I also happen to really enjoy drawing faces and I've been trying to draw at least 1 daily in a sketchbook I carry around with me. So far I'm on the 80th one so making reasonable progress and it's cool to see the improvements along the way. Thanks for putting together these daily sketchbook videos. They are really motivating and informative.

There are comic book artists that do this and I love there stuff so much more than the more traditional comic book artists that just do slight variations on the same face.

I really love this type of video where we get to watch you sketch and hear you talk through your thought process. Have you ever studied the Reilly rhythms as they apply to faces?

I think your faces would be a lot better if the eyes themselves felt more 3 dimensional.
