Hi everyone!! Here's my drawing of Fire! I really hope this tutorial is helpful. It's such a fun and relaxing way to draw and I highly recommend giving it a try. Let me know what you think! And be sure to let me know if you have any suggestions for future art videos I could work on. Thank you so much for the continued awesome support! Hope you're having a great day. :) -Chris

Chris, if you look closely, it looks like you drew a woman in the flames, with her face sorta looking up, her hair crazy flames, the ribbons of flames giving shape to a female body with a Kim Kardashian booty. Lol. You just didn't add detail facial features. Arms are ribbon flames too...

The best "still life" of fire I've ever seen! Your work with varying tones is always brilliant--one almost cannot believe the fire will register as "bright" enough until you add the background, at which point the contrast jumps off the page, and the fire itself seems to glow. There is marked growth in this graphite piece, which is not surprising. You tend not to repeat yourself (which so many KZbinr Creators do), and that seems key. The central vortex is subtle, but visible, which lends an even more realistic touch to this piece. Kudos, Christopher!

Thank you so much, Gabe!! :) I'm really glad I finally gave this drawing a try! Drawing fire always seemed intimidating until I recently started practicing a couple of techniques that I'd been imagining. I've been looking forward to sharing the process! Thanks again! Hope you're having a lovely day over there!

Thank you chris. My dad is a tattoo artist and when he was in my life as a kid I used to linger over his shoulder when he would draw and I always found it fascinating. He left and 10 years down the road when I met with him he didnt want to show me anything or help me out. But you have, thank you

WOW!! Chris, I am constantly amazed by your artwork. Thank you so much for sharing your "how-to" videos. I learn so much from them, and I don't consider myself a slouch when it comes to drawing, but no way am I on your level. I stick to black and white drawings, but I even appreciate your color art. Again, thank you and I hope you are taking care of yourself.

Hello Chris, this is amazing. Good tips and advice plus the result is so satisfying. I can't NOT see a head made of fire in your drawing. Which brings me to a suggestion. Could you draw elemental figures? Not necessarily humanoid but made of their respective elements. Thank you for your kind approach and work!

Hi! Thank you so much for the kind words and support. :) I really hope the video is useful! Haha that's awesome! Hi... What do you do when you have a art block...?
@LethalChris13 жыл бұрын
Hi! :) In those moments I try to take a step back from drawing and spend a bit of time enjoying other creative interests that'll hopefully inspire me to draw. This year photography has helped me in this way. If I try to force myself to draw when I'm already frustrated with it, it never works. It helps me if I take a step back and refresh, even for an hour or two. It can also help if you don't put too much pressure on yourself. Try working on and completing small projects and then build up to larger projects. Hope this is helpful!

Love the shading! Shading has always come naturally to me, and I take advantage of my skill for depth as you. To me this doesn't look like flames though. The overall shape doesn't look natural. I find that simpler lines that all gradually flow upwards works for me. Again you definitely have a talent. Would love to show you my flames one day.

Also, I have a couple of suggestions for videos : - For a Fan Art video, I think trying to draw AL-AN from Subnautica : Below Zero would be quite challenging and enjoyable. - And since you like dragons (wich is understandable), why not try some sort of Time Dragon ? I would say that this could be quite cool ! That's all I wanted to say, so again, congratulations and thank you, feel free to consider or not these two ideas, and see you soon !
