The things I notice about Genshin's art style is that there are a lot of gold trimmings or metalwork in a lot of their character designs that share the same saturation. They must also have cultural motifs that go with their respective country as this game treats itself as a cultural export; as characters take 9-12 months to make, it is hard to replicate that kind of extensive research by 1 person. Over-accessorization and a lot of chars with gloves of some kind. A lot of chars have palette colors that fit their visions, but not necessarily. I think the closest anybody to replicating the Genshin art style and fooled people into believing it to be a real character is the fanart of a small oni girl whom the artist imagined to be a leaked Kuki Shinobu.

Wow I just searched the fan art kuki shinobu and it's insane how well they replicated genshin's style, from the pose to outfit and accessories, this character doesn't even exist and yet it feels so official

Can you do a HSR art style study? I like both games’ art and they look similar but the HSR characters look more…well I’d say mature and somewhat realistic. Great video! It helped me do artstyle study more efficiently.

I think it’s mostly the eyes on HSR characters, most of the Genshin eyes are placed lower on the head, (Diluc is an extreme example of this lol) if you place the eyes a bit higher so they are closer to the middle of the head it should look more like the style. Another thing I’ve noticed is the hair doesn’t have as much shading and really only has it to separate the chunks with minor gradients to show the shadows (there is this one Kafka art that barely has shading at all) otherwise, the shading style is very similar

I think that the style is almost the same its just the characters that are more mature the only diffrece is the style is a bit more realistic.

I use a few Krita brushes but I've tried clip studio paint as well and for it I used the brushes from KuroShiro, I was inspired by them for the one I use in krita
