Just a quick comment to say think you. I've been a writer since I was thirteen, but always found it difficult to get images out of my head. Recently, I decided to (finally) learn how to draw because it is massively difficult to find artwork that brings the characters I see to life, and commissions are a bit out of my ability. Thanks to your channel and how you explain things, I've gone from barely being able to draw a stick figure to full-body sketches that look at least decent-all in a couple of weeks. So thank you, very much, for making this daunting learning curve a lot easier and faster.

This is seriously one of the most helpful tutorials I've ever watched. Ive never been able to draw hands despite the tutorials I've binged, but this helped so much, my drawing already looked better on the first try.
@Ghostly_scarf3 жыл бұрын
this genuinely helped me. the part wheree he said to do 3 strokes on each side of the finger made my hand sketches look a little better. but what ive also learned is that you kinda need to know how to draw angles but its ONLY basic shapes, and add a little detail like overlapping skin, or creases when a finger is bent
@Finiskyy11 ай бұрын
I suck at drawing hands but after following the tutorial and breaking down a hand and using my own hand as a reference I can say this helped me a bunch, I went from making deformed hands to actually hands, still got to do a lot more practice but this helped a lot, thanks man!

This is a really good tutorial. It really cleared up a few things I didn’t know, about how the hand fit together with the palm and the thumb. It’s showing easily memorable things to practice, that can even get divided into ‘practice bites’ where you can practice one bit at a time. You don’t have to study it like forced homework, either because it can be watched watched fast so rewatching doesn’t feel like homework 😁
