Funny enough I’ve just started reading this manga and my art has gotten so much better by doing art studies of it. I thought that I had to like draw from life all the time, but there was this KZbinr that made a pretty cool video on it the art of Nemo is his channel And said you got to study for everything if you don’t find drawing you know from photos of people interesting you’re not gonna keep practising and you’re not gonna be better. If you like drawing comics and you find drawing photos, boring study comics because if you don’t like what you’re drawing you’re eventually going to stop. And I do like realism, but I’m just so impatient. I don’t have the patience for it. It takes so long to render everything and to make it look realistic. I just like simple styles to get it done quick. I don’t know, but I’m working on being more patient so I can try realism because I do like the look of it, but it’s kind of hard and time-consuming.

That’s kinda the same reason I don’t do realism as often other than the fact that I’m not good at it, but the manga is great also helped my art a lot 🙏🏾😩

@@WELUVKWEEZY yeah you really have to pay attention with realism and like observe how everything is and all the proportions and everything. Manga can be hard as well because you have to tweak the proportions to get certain styles. I'm just not that good to start realism yet. What makes it look realistic is like rendering and I'm still not that good at painting and stuff and shading.

I guess it's because we can hardly talk in real life with people so we go into hyper detail online. Plus we really hyper focus on our special interests. I've lost a lot of friends because of it because I kept spamming them with too many messages. Well not a lot of friends but I've overwhelmed some people and I feel bad about it.
