Hey brother, let me give you some great advice that took me MANY years of experience to learn about being a GREAT TEACHER!! I played 5 sports, almost 20 seasons playing American football...plus ive earnes 3 college degrees...ive also coached football 20+ more...from all of the countess coaches, teachers and professors that ive had...BY FAR THE BEST ONES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THE ONES WHO TALK TO YOU AS IF YOURE A YOUNG CHILD WHO KNOWS NOTHING. Too many smart people are horrible "teachers" because they take for granted that everyone already knows certain things....but thats hardly ever true. So, when you teach...practice talking to your students as if they are all small children. Start slow and cover every little detail and repeat yourself.....i know it sounds simplistic...but trust me....people love it when you talk about every detail...if you do this i promise you that youll have more HAPPY AND SUCCESSFUL art students who love you!!!

@@LinoNetoArts yeah i was going to say i watched about half the video and the whole time i was waiting for it to start looking real.. then i get up for 10 secs to throw something away and when i looked back at the screen it was as shiny as could be.. i had to back it up to make sure i didnt miss anything lol

Thank you for the tutorials. Ive done 2 of your now and really like the results. Ive always liked drawing eyes but never in color. My upper eyelashes did not turn out right, but other than that very realistic. I wish i knew how to leave a pic

I used to draw eyeballs and I could get them to look pretty realistic but this is next level stuff. I did most of mine in just black and grey not colored.

Your pencils create an almost shiny effect. What pencils are you using? I followed along with Crayola pencils because that's what I had. I also used a white gel pen. Mine didn't have the same realism effect as yours. I think it's because the lead produced more of a dull color.. definitely not shiny at all. Also, the black Crayola pencil isn't as dark as yours, so there was less contrast. It would be nice if you could produce a tutorial comparison using Crayola (or off brand) pencils to see if you can produce an outcome close to what this video produces using the same techniques. I'm not an artist and was just trying this out, so it could be a lack of skill that made my attempt look less real, too.
