Between Sonic and Mario I can't say who I prefer more. Both play styles are fun and each has music that are unique to the series. Mario games never have bad voice acting I guess so that's the only pro. Both Mario and Sonic games have gotten much easier, if you ignore glitches. When it comes down to it Mario games are more about frolicking about and doing flips and being fun and silly, whereas, Sonic games are action packed speed oriented and parkour-ish, the blast processing of the Genesis days.
