How to Draw Vector HAIR Adobe Illustrator Tutorial

I'd love a detailed video on how to draw the ends. I can handle the pen tool pretty well for curves, but getting those pointy end bits is very challenging.

Nah, getting the ends pointy is the easy part (alt+drag the vector handles). The challenging part is getting the curves juuuuuust riiiiiight! I'm taking screen shots and practicing by tracing over them -- back to the basics!

Draw your curves and then use the Anchor Point Tool (Shift + C) Just click on your points and they will no longer be curves. If that doesn't quite give you what you want then use your Direct Selection Tool (A) to adjust your handles as needed.
