What would make this better would be the option to have the measurement be toggled on or off . So after scaling the drawing and drawing a line that represents 10 feet with the ruler , it will have that measurement of 10’ at end of line .

Good catch - tap the ruler icon on the top middle toolbar to turn on the Super Ruler!

Same for me but you need to enter the settings when the ruler tool is selected. You’ll need to to turn the “tap toggle” option on. Hope that helps

That or you can select the infinity sign increment without the tap toggle. Again found in settings when the ruler is selected. The toggle using your finger is optional

How do you offset lines or snap to lines or something? If I want all my interior walls to be 6" thick for example is there a way to offset this or snap to points I create?

There is a fee-mode in ruler setting where you can draw straight lines without using the finger in the screen. Maybe this is a new feature added after you recorded the tutorial

yes, you can do this! Just turn on "infinite angle" in your Super Ruler settings and you can draw a straight line at any angle.

As a new user it would be helpful if you would have pointed out that in Orthogonal Mode, when setting to 15 degrees, it will draw in multiples of this: 15, 30, 45, 60, 75 & 90. Correct?

How do you lock the scale for a layer you’ve created? There appears to be a translation lock but no scale lock which is mildly frustrating when you are trying to move layers around with appliances and furniture for a floor plan and the relative size of the furniture is changing when you just need to rotate and translate.

Note that you can move layers without rescaling them by using 3 fingers to drag them!

Hi, I´m new at Morpholio, I tried this but the line he draws at 2min 34 seconds into the video goes straight up, not at 15 degrees. When I try to draw the straight line it won´t let me at it will just draw a 15 degree line. Please help

Catu Mora Hi Catu! Thank you for watching this and using Trace!! Be sure that you have 15 degrees selected in the Super Ruler gear/settings. This will allow you to draw at 15°!

My friend. The tutorials are excellent. My only criticism is to try no to be so hesitant when you speak. Even when you know your stuff very well, every time someone stops with a “aah...”, “humm...” it gives the listeners idea that you’re not sure where you’re going. Try to write a script first so you can give your instructions in a solid consistent way.

This is a cool app, but it seems like it’s missing some very very basic functionality that comes into play when working with existing as-built spaces. For example, how do I draw a rectangle that is precisely 128-3/8” x 101-7/8”?

Thanks William! You can use the Super Ruler to draw any specific length - like all the sides of rectangle - just like you would with a physical ruler.
