@@mari-h7q I personally like shopping on YesStyle! They don't have a generic size chart, but rather provide the measurements for each size of each item, including the length of the item. I find it very helpful as generic size charts seem to be inaccurate more often than not. As for finding items that suit your body, I would recommend going to a store and trying on clothing with a variety of silhouettes to find those that suit you best. You could also determine your body type (pear, hourglass, apple, etc.) and research how to best dress for that body type, there are many resources for this online. I hope this was helpful!

I started wearing dresses and skirts six months ago and boy did I get noticed and questioned why I was doing this and where was I going that day that was so special. I did not let it tampered with my new goal which would be continual feminine wardrobe. Now it is six months later and I still feel really good when I go to pick up my clothes at night and go to wear them in the morning. As far as jeans and skirts I’ve never looked back. Dresses and skirts are something I’ve always enjoyed and my husband really enjoys to see me in as well. There is nothing more attractive to a man then a feminine woman. Just watch the show Calamity Jane. When you look different from this larger modern crowd beware of a lot more attention from classier men and stares from modern society. They will look at you because you look different Let’s face it it’s not common to see a woman in a dress but it will always will be in a good way. And who knows maybe you’ve influenced them to look a little more feminine in their every day life. It’s hard to walk away from the larger crowd and start doing things that are different. I stopped following them and now I look different because have embraced my femininely. If you look good you will feel good. For these people that want to wear yoga pants I agree it is a totally comfy feel but it is not feminine. It’s easier to feel comfy. And that makes it easier for them make money off of you. Thank you for making this video. A lot of women need to hear it so they can make the first step.

My top half is petite and my waist is short, so every. single. top I own is cropped with the exception of bodysuits and button blouses meant for tucking in. This is not for showing skin-I also wear layers or high waist bottoms, but the point is proportion! When I worked at a camp, I cropped the camp tee and either wore it with a breezy a-line drawstring skirt or high waist cutoff Bermuda shorts and converse. I worked outside in the woods like that! 💪 Full makeup and all! Just because we do hard work doesn’t mean we can’t look like girls. I got sweaty too, I just felt like my true self while doing it!

Um no, at least not necessarily. The vast majority of dresses are not ball gowns! Many dresses cost much less than jeans/pants, and then there's having to get a top to go with them. You also don't need to be in perfect shape to wear a dress. In fact, they are much more flattering on many bodies. I like jeans and they can look stylish too, but I find dresses more comfortable, affordable, flattering, and easy. I wish the dress shaming would stop! To me, saying "where you are going?" to someone in a dress is rude. I wouldn't ask someone why they spent a hundred bucks on skinny jeans they can hardly breathe in and highlight every flaw.

Something that I put a ton of effort into this summer was looking for feminine styles, colors, and silhouettes in T-shirts. Though it was actually a lot of work (probably because I was combing the t-shirt section of a thrift store!), the result was awesome! I always had super comfy go-to shirts, but they looked really feminine when I put them on. I think that a key here is to do the hard work on the front end (i.e. shopping for however long it takes, to bring the items into your wardrobe), so that in the moment of truth (when you're getting dressed and don't feel like putting a ton of energy into your outfit), the pieces comes together effortlessly and femininely!

And, while I would say that adding nice, feminine t-shirts is half that battle, getting rid of t-shirts or other casual wear that aren't doing you any favors is the other half of the battle! That way, when you go to reach into your closet, you will be met with only good choices of clothing, not tempted by sloppy ones!

Oh my god you have spoken to my soul ! This is exactly what I have been telling ppl that dressing feminine and embracing that energy will bring out every woman s true nature aka setting yourself free . I dont live in the west Im in the middle east we emebrace femininity though there is a huge western influence now because of the media and women are starting to be more androgynous thinking thats the modern way to go . I motivated 1 of my friends that wanted to change her style she said she has never been more happier cuz it released her true self . I love your channel and will support you ❤️❤️

When I dress up someone will say "Wow, are you going to a party?" - What I feel I want to reply to this is "I'm a woman!" or tell them it feels wonderful to dress feminine because I am a woman. I like to wear a pretty, colorful hairscrunchie on my wrist, almost like a bracelet, it feels feminine and it's useful too. If puts me in feminine mood, somehow, when it comes to clothes. And I tied a beautiful classy looking scarf on the back of my purse, it always feel stylish and it's a feminine statement of mine...Even when you see me from the back. I have learned so much from your videos. Suddenly I couldn't wear the yoga/workout pants as casual clothing, I suddenly see how it looks... I even care about dressing feminine/classy at home now, comfortable fabric that feels soft upon my skin and colors which I love and floral print, my absolute favorite. It's the best I know in my closet. Skirts and floral and I rock it with some feminine looking sneakers. I love heels but when casual I take the sneakers, to my skirts.

Thank you so much for your videos. You've really helped me be able to embrace my femininity. I remember when I was little I always loved dressing up and being girly but when I got to kindergarten every girl seemed to hate dresses and thought they were uncool. I wanted to fit in so I stopped wearing them unless I was forced to wear something nicer for an occasion. Until recently. Now I'm 16 and it's taken me 10 years to get back to my true self!

I love love love this video! It feels like getting an advice from an older sister! I only have male siblings growing up and as the youngest, I had to wear boys hand-me-downs. I always wanted to wear pastel and feminine clothing but was afraid of being look down by my brothers and friends. I just finish secondary school and will be going off to Uni soon. Videos like this really helps me in terms of finding the right style and building my confidence in embracing my femininity!

I wear dresses and skirts everyday, I have one pair of jeans, dresses are so comfortable! For everyday, casual look I choose cotton, jerseys and viscose. Most of my office dresses are navy, dark blue or dark green. In the summer I wear light fabrics and more playful patterns and colours. I work in totally masculine industry and work mainly with men, so wearing dress gives me some kind of signature look and feeling of feminity. Since I swiched to dresses as office clothes I never had trouble matching pieces together, it's just one piece and some minimal accesories (small silver earings, delicate silver braclet, scarf, small bag). It gives me less stressful mornings, less decisions to make ;) Casual dress became my uniform and I totally encourage you to try!

You were right on about other people making comments about feminine clothing. It's sad to see other women getting catty, jelous or rude because someone decides to reject the culture norms of dressing androgynously, but it happens all the time.

i started wearing dresses by wearing them as loungewear lol they're so much more comfortable, it was mindblowing. now i've started wearing them out in public too. it's tricky to get over the 'dress=formal' mindset, but once you do you realize you can hit 'nice-casual', which is perfect! doesn't stand out TOO much, but still looks nicer than regular casual wear. and sooo much more comfortable. not just physically, but mentally, i feel more confident and put-together when i dress that way. i think it's easier to dress nice-casual when you aren't constantly surrounded by, say, students at school (you stick out too much). it's different than work clothes too, i've noticed. work clothes lean towards formal and simple, while nice-casual can be a little flashier and more loose. it's nice.

I’m having a hard time embracing my feminine figure when I’m so small and ‘skinny’. It’s hard to feel confident when there’s not much there, and it’s hard for me to gain weight so I do weight lifting to build muscle which builds curves but it takes time and I always wish I had a naturally curvy body

You are beautiful Isabella! Beauty standards come and go, but femininity is timeless! There has been many times throughout history when a slender, sleek figure would have been the ideal, and it still is for so many people. Right now exaggerated curves are kind of everywhere in our faces, but they’re NOT inherently more feminine than your figure, it’s just another trend that will come and go. Find cuts, fabrics, colors, and accessories that play up your favorite features and you’ll feel instantly more confident. The more you start feeling comfortable and confident, the more your natural femininity will begin to pour out ❤️

We are all different and unique! You sound gorgeous. I would lean into the petite, ingenue, fairy/spritely aesthetic if I was petite and slender. I would go for flowy tops, Capri pants, and fitted skirts and tights! Flowy dresses/tops and shift dresses can look really pretty on slender women, and lean into that angelic, fairy aesthetic 💓🥳🌸

@@victoriousv1412 curves is NOT a trend for some women though. Curves has always been around in certain cultures & genetics. U dont have to put others dwn to uplift another. Having curves has been a womanly thing throughout history but being slim is not the end. Ear rings dresses light colors make up long flowy hair does wonders for slim women.

Literally the video I needed 🙌🙌🙌 I work in a VERY business casual environment. Like, they said it was business casual when I was hired, and most people wear jeans, sneakers, and sweatshirts. We can literally wear whatever we want to on saturdays. However, I choose to only wear skirts. Every saturday people literally show up in their pajamas, and I'm the odd one out in a casual outfit. I basically dress the same tuesday-saturday, other than wednesday when I want to look a bit nicer when I go straight to mid-week church.

More quality content with diverse visual examples and verbal hints/explanations and no harsh judgements - Mrs Midwest, you are the feminine force we need!
This is something I need to start working on, lack of body confidence can make potentially drawing attention to yourself a difficult thing to get your head around but you are so right, why not celebrate the woman we are if we feel that will bring us joy ... I need to just be brave and stop worrying about judgement that is actually 100% irrelevant. Thank you 🌼🌸🌼
