Would love to see a watch episode…Bond alone gives plenty but from Bond to Succession to many others, a lot of material to work with. New subscriber here though!

Definitely, it's on the cards. I love watches but I have to learn a little more before a review.

That's called the "Panther Walk", I read that in his biography, he learned it in his prior training, they loved it.

Yes, Goldfinger's costumes are very interesting.

I'd never wear them myself but it has to be said they are striking.

More British, Australians, Canadians and New zealanders should aspire to be like Jimmy Bond! 👍🏻

I think the reason why the grey glen check suit stands out so distinctly is not so much the tailoring - all the suits were cut by the same tailor - but the fact that it is light grey. The details and contours are seen clearly, while those of the dark suits are not so visible because of the cinematic medium.
@ForTheLoveOfSuits2 жыл бұрын
That is a very good point. I use a book to get the details about each suit because it is quite difficult to see what some of the darker suits are made of.

I wear suit with pleated pants like 1960s Bond

Bond doesn't peel off a wet suit, he peels off a dry suit.

Thanks you. I was unaware such a thing existed. I've only ever worn wetsuits.

Let's face it : when you are as good looking as Connery you can wear anything..!!

I'm sorry, of course Bond is a classic, but the tailoring on these suits isn't great.
@ForTheLoveOfSuits11 ай бұрын
Thanks Daniel. A very interesting comment. Anything in particular that stands out as bad tailoring?
@DanielClementYoga11 ай бұрын
@@ForTheLoveOfSuits ...I'm surprised at the lack of pressing, particularly on the grey 3 piece suit. The fit, particularly in the upper arms of a couple of his suits isn't great. I think the quality is definitely there, Connery may not have the perfect figure to show off the suits and I know fit has changed over the years but still doesn't inspire.
@RogerOThornhill10 ай бұрын
I couldn't disagree more. The cut on these suits is amazing, a candidate for the best male wardrobe in movie history. And if 36 year old Connery doesn't "have the perfect figure" to show suits off, then no one does.

You have made several mistakes regarding the suit fabrics.
@ForTheLoveOfSuits Жыл бұрын
Not according to the author of the book Fashioning James Bond by Llewella Chapman which I use as a guide. But if there are mistake please feel free to point them out. I welcome the chance to learn as much as possible about fabrics.
