If you wanna get loose when it’s dry you have to turn off ur trac, put it in Ect power mode and put it in standard mode go to first gear and spin 🙌🏼

if you unplug the battery it'll get rid of the "check vsc" code connected to the check engine light

Most fun is with a limited slip diff (the one from the 86 drops right into the 250 btw), and in snow.

i dont think the vsc thing is necessary cause i can slide without it, also the 250 does have enough power when its dry out, put it in 1st usually works better

should I redline the car? I've had it for almost 2 years now and I've kinda babied it, can it handle redlines and hitting the rev limiter???

@@pinks2132 I wouldn’t say redline it but I’ve heard and also personally had better results with higher rpms especially in first gear. I just started sliding mine tho so I’m also learning

Still playing with this car? Consider swapping in an FRS diff for cheap which adds LSD and lower final gear (4.10) which will help with low end torque... now to solve the silly foot operated emergency brake!

The FRS differential is only compatible with the IS250 and the IS300

What if its a really shit box that my vsc is off my abs system is off and traction is off and i have a check engine light on

well... if all of those lights are on I would assume that your good but not 100%, just try to slide it sometime, if the car starts beeping at you and isn't breaking loose than try to clear the codes than turn everything off!

@@vursce igg u could bc i b doing it wit a open diff too. but its not the same as when u have a welded diff or lsd. u gone b able to get a lot more sideways a lot easier n do a whole lot more.
