Two aspects, one if you know the slowing down demands gear change then, clutch require. If gear change is not required, no use of clutch.

I am facing a problem. I don't know whether it's my skill problem or car When facing speed breaker with 5th gear I use clutch to change 2nd gear near the bump at this point car shutdowns and I want to restart. This also happens in normal stops from hig gear to low. what may be the problem? I also consulted showroom they said no problem in the car. Can you Give a detailed view.

You need to hold the second gear in half clutch for a second or 2, flywheel will rotate the clutch plate not all of a sudden but gradual. Hence, after changing to second don't just leave faster, as per the movment hold on half for a second, if possible give a little acceleration too based on your car. Not the problem of the car.

Also please understand, when the vehicle slows down below 10 km it is the job of the clutch to push the vehicle to running, it doesn't happen all of a sudden, will be slow movement based on your leaving of clutch. This is the solution.

When I am at top gear (80km) if I am closing the clutch for some 4 ,5 seconds speed reduces (40km, 30 km) suddenly the car shuts down . Without even opening the cluth.

Next time engage neutral and check. Then once nearing any task change the appropriate gear. By the way, which car is this?
