What it forgets to mention is not to use H4 on grippy roads at high speeds. I ended up not being able to switch back to H2 initially after I ended up on the motorway on H4 by mistake. I hope I haven't done any serious damage.

Why can not improve from 4H to 4L while on the move but at really low speed. Why only can change while the care stationary.

needs to completely reset gear ratios, impossible when gears are being used. needs to be completely stationary

My guess is because it wasn’t engaged properly. I had the same issue. What I’ve found out so far is that you have to go from h2 to h4 then to l4 and can’t go quickly from h2 to l4.

Based on experience, you have to be stationary, gear in Neutral and then can you change H2-H4-L4 without the beeping sound and vice versa.

What about a flashing 4x4 light ? After going from h4 to h2 ?

If its red thats rear diff lock engaged if its yellow then the l4 isn't engaged
