I did this a couple of weeks back, I think the very same car and it wasn't quite as I expected. Now, I have driven many cars over the years, but in this, I literally could not find the brake pedal. I'm 6'2" so reach isn't an issue, at any slowing down point I pressed my foot everywhere to find it and just couldn't locate it in the footwell. So this distracted me big time cos I wasn't sure how I was going to stop at the end. I couldn't keep up with the pace car and other 2 FFs in front and kept to the safe line around the circuit hoping all the supercars and hot lap cars could avoid me. Just wish they'd been a quick brake test bit at the start like you get in karting. But I'm sure I can dine out for many years now recalling the story of how I did 4 or 5 laps in one of these with no brakes😱

So they let you out without showing you how to use it ,that's crazy. Surely if you could accelerate you could of put your left foot next to right and then move it slightly left for brake pedal. Not trying to be condescending just can't understand why you couldn't find the brakes when the pedals are all within 10 cm of each other

@@simonelliott3791 yeah, we had a briefing next to the car showing us what's what and how the paddle shift works and to stay in 4th and just keep in line but in hindsight I should have checked out the layout of the peddles, I was made aware that the clutch peddle was really long to initially get it into gear. I guess the brake must have been offset either higher or lower, not sure, I had my narrow adidas hi-tops that I use for karting so wasn't a footwear issue either, maybe I'll have another go one day in a different type of single seater👍
