Thanks for the info, I think i've caught the bug after a couple of track days at Paul Ricard then 6 series of netflix back to back. Your perfect for motorsport as you hardly blink. Subscribed.

Thanks a lot for the all the details, i understand much more how it work. It's very pricey for me, but maybe someday after good savings... ^^ Last word : it's was not boring at all, for a first video you did very well and the timestamps are the cherry on the cake.

It is extremely expensive, and this is one of the the affordable options. I would recommend LoCost for you, fantastic racing, or Formula VEE. Appreciate that!

I have enjoyed your videos. It would have been handy to know that tyres are 1k a set, and apparently one needs a new set every weekend. Also it would have been useful information to know that Friday testing is not included in the weekend track fee. I've bought a car, so now it's time to save up for the season. Thanks for your videos, see you next year.

If you want to compete at the front, you need a new set every weekend. If you happy just getting comfortable in the car, I ran old tyres first few races. Thanks for the feedback Awesome man, see you next year

Are you planning to race all six weekends? Just wondering which tracks you have enjoyed the most? I'm thinking probably 3/4weekends first season plus a few test days.
@ChapmansCorner Жыл бұрын
@@search4orlifeI would love to race all 6 but might have to skip one or two. My favourite track is Oulton, you have to do that - it’s like being on a rollercoaster. Cadwell is even more insane according to my teammate, a must do but a tough track. Croft and Donnington are also incredible tracks, I’ve not raced at Don but have done 2 test days there. Brands Indy I’ve not raced but looks fun even if it’s simple. The Silverstone layouts are cool because it’s Silverstone. I may skip this round though and enter MonoPosto instead, as they run the full Silverstone GP layout which is much cooler than the 2 halves. Do you have a sim?

I’m getting into F1K myself, so these vids are invaluable.😎 Where you get your HANS device from at that price? 😳👏🏻 I’ll be at the NEC show next Saturday, so hopefully see some nice “show deals”. 🙏😎👍🏻 Great vids keep em coming. Blessings.🙏😎👍🏻

I’ve recently been looking to get into racing, and this seems like my best option as I really want to drive open wheel series. Would you recommend trying to find arrive and drive packages to start off with as I have no mechanics knowledge to do my own repairs and setups? Or is that something you have to hire in this series after buying a race car for yourself? I also don’t own a trailer so I think cad transport may be a problem too?
@ChapmansCorner2 ай бұрын
Hi Sam. F1000 is the best value for money with open wheel racing, although it is expensive! I did an arrive and drive test, then 2 A&D races before then buying my car. That way the car is fully prepared for you and you can just worry about driving and learning that. Once you’ve done an A&D, I can connect you with my team who does all my transport, prep and trackside support Message me on insta if you want to discuss

Hey mate next year I'm thinking about getting a race car I have done a lot of go karting and have a racing sim. I'm thinking about going into one of the monoposto series. Do you know what you need to get in. And how does it work if I have my own car
@ChapmansCorner Жыл бұрын
Hi mate! Can message me on Insta so we can chat if you want. If you have your own car you’ll need a team to help with trackside support, transport abs storage if you don’t have that. MonoPosto looks good, I haven’t raced with them but plan to do the Silverstone GP with them next year

How much was the f1000 car and what are the projected annual costs? Been finding it difficult to get ahold of any concrete numbers
@ChapmansCorner Жыл бұрын
My car = £20k (range £14-£30k) Tyres = £1k per set (need 1 a weekend to be competitive) Day rate for trackside support = £450 per day (race weekend is 1 optional test + 1 or 2 day racing) Car prep for a session = £200 Race weekend entry = £450 Test day entry = £390 Transport = £200 per race weekend Repairs and mechanical issues = no idea… example an engine is around £3k, £40 per hour labour. Can imagine there will be at least £5k repairs over the year, probably more. Follow on Insta and DM if you want more detail or to discuss
