It's not recommended to drive in the right-most lane if the road has two or more lanes. The right-most lane is the fast lane or the overtaking lane. Riding that lane to avoid motorbikes will probably cause road rage as you will straddle it. It's supposed to be for overtaking only.

That’s interesting. I thought the right most lane(on a highway or four lane boulevard) would be for passing cars. (Just like the left lane(on highways) in the States. I wondered since you like to drive on the right, if that was the more stagnate lane. But my question was answered. Can’t wait for the opportunity to drive in Thailand!
@passawishpaktiwong458110 ай бұрын
@@marcusb.3038 the law said rightest lane is for passing cars. When there is a lot of traffic, the "passing" is kind of just running the right lane all the way, like, passing all the traffic on the left all the way. Anyway, it still a fast lane, if you drive too slow or slower than the car behind, you have to move back to the middle or left lane. If not, the car behind you will flash the fuck out of high beam at you and dangerously passing you by the middle lane. The cars coming behind you can drive 120 kmhr or 200 kmhr or anything, it's illegal but it's their fault. But if you didn't let them go or being slow, it's your fault that you already passing the other cars and don't go back to middle lane. And yes, the leftest lane got tons of motorbike, and much more pothole.

It's the right side in Australia. I've spent a few months in Northern Thailand. Driven thousands of kilometres. The thing you say about sticking to the middle lane is OK in the city but not on country roads. I'd say stay to the left. You never know when a bus or truck or someone will overtake heading towards you. They don't tend to obey the lines on the road. Also biggest vehicle has priority as you sort of said. Enjoy CM. It's one of my favourite places in the world.

I am an Indian now living in London. All my life I always drove on the left side of the road. But outside UK everywhere in Europe they drive on the right side like in USA. When I first went to Spain I took a rental car from the hotel. When I got out of the hotel gate I took a left turn and immediately hit a car. :( It took me quite a few days to get accustomed to it. Now I am used to it and can drive seamlessly in Canada as well as European countries. However, recently again I did the same mistake. From London I drove to Paris by crossing the English Channel on ferry. I was bit worried on something else and when I drove out of Calais Port i almost hit a buge monster truck. Better be safe than sorry. Appreciate your video bro. These videos are rare but helps a lot of people. Probably you saved few lives too. I subd to your channel.
