1. keeping a safe distance from the car/bike @ front not only for panic breaking but also to safeguard the windshield which will get sprayed with mud/slush and water compromising visibility 2. Not something specific to monsoon but using sprayer to wipe the windshield while driving inside city. Makes bikers clothes wet and also sprays on their helmets compromising visibility

Nice video. Please mention the risk of power steering motor damage and ac damage that can happen due to water level and water splash due to big vehicles. Once the wiring gets wet, within a year lot of loose contact due to rust will happen and it's best advised to replace wiring harness in flood vehicles. Wish you all safe motoring.

During rainy season its must to fill windshield wiper fluid so it can clear with water during mist or if windshield appears dirty

After driving in flooded water, water will enter the clutch & front disc brakes. Once we drive out from water we should check the brakes by pumping safely, so that the water will come out from the brake pads. Many people fail to do so & drive normally which leads to safety risks by not stopping the vehicle at the safe distance

Thanks this is timely one. Morning while driving to office no choice drove through water log and while returning drove through another road again caught up with another water log. My car just a week old, Really scared 😱 Now on I decided to use two wheeler or auto rickshaw if rains heavily.

Nice sir. Three more points- First, High speed water splashing should also be avoided. Second, when the hazard light is on, the indicator will not work. So before taking the turn, hazard light is to be turned off and then the indicator is to be used. Third, anticipating water splashing from the oncoming or overtaking vehicles is necessary, because this can affect the driver’s visibility for a few seconds or even cause accidents.

While driving in highways, sometimes we might not see stagnant water near center median. Car will experience sudden resistance and floating feel while passing through that. Do not continue acceleration, take off foot and apply break. Do watch out for vehicles coming behind you and drive slowly !!
