A tip for people going down the airsoft route GBB (Gas Blowback) guns require maintenance just like a real firearm and you can avoid a lot of headache by learning simple maintenance skills: -Airsoft guns require lubrication. Normal gun oils sometimes can dissolve or weaken the cheap plastics some guns use. Always use pure silicone oil, ideally in liquid form as aerosols may contain gases that can corrode rubber seals. -Buy a green gas propane adapter to power your magazines. This allows you to use cheap propane, but be sure to place oil in the valve every couple refills as that ensures the inside of the magazine seals do not dry out. -ALL magazines will eventually leak. Learn how to replace the original factory seals with a superior RTV silicone gasket maker seal. There are plenty of tutorials on youtube on how to "fix leaky magazines" using this technique. -Buy at least 6 magazines. Even if you only plan to use two at a time, magazines will get cold due to Gay-Lussac's Law and the cycling will fail if too cold. Cycle through magazines which give them ample time to stay warm.
@GBCNBSN7 жыл бұрын
Mr Smith, respectfully; the Adiabatic Process is what causes the magazines to become cold after firing. Gay-Lussac's Law looks at a system where the volume of the system is held constant.
@johnyboy123ify7 жыл бұрын
Well cool. I was gonna say the same thing, but you did it for me. On a serious note, I learned this the hard way. When I was 18 to 20 years old I got into airsoft for the training aspect. Then used rem oil to lube it. Needless to say, I just about replace most parts in my WETech G17. lol In case anyone is interested in lube for your GBB guns and the like, here is the place I get mine. www.evike.com/shop/28/141/

I actually got a lot of dry fire good drill ideas just from watching your clips at the end. It’s really nice to see “how it should be done” so those of us that are still striving for higher standards can have a model to emulate. So thank you for that. Good to see you “Getting off the X,” although I would think it would be more advantageous to move away from the middle of the two bad guys. Moving to the right of the target on the right would be more advantageous because you would be putting both attackers in a line where you could deal with each individually (the backstop wouldn’t hurt either) and it would still move you “off the X” to a position that could take you to one’s back if needed while creating more distance for both targets.

So true, great advice and saves money. I loved the involvement of the fun factor, so critical for ensuring repeated play and training, exactly what I do in my studio at home as well, which is separate from my main house. John 16:33 - "...be of GOOD CHEER, for I have overcome the world." ((CAPS added by author :-). What was particularly important in this video was the incorporation of close quarter break in contact, especially at 7:44, a very quick, open hand slap - NOT a clench fist, which takes time, because you have to clench the fist in order to deliver it - which is NOT quick. An opened hand slap is much quicker and you executed it very well! Practical break in close quarter contact was perfectly demonstrated there. Good job!
