I had both dry and wet pedis , and the end result is the same if you go to a good pedicurest, but in my personal opinion nothing beats the wet pedi , the soak is also relaxing and helps relax your muscles .

Maybe this is going to sound weird. But the reason I’ve been researching about dry pedi is because I have a fungus in one of my toes, and my pedicure girl basically took all my nail using one of this drills. She said that’s the only way to cure the nail, exposing the fungus and following the treatment. Which sounds reasonable. However going weekly to do my pedicure is too expensive for me, so I wanna learn to do it myself. However, I haven’t found a video that speaks specifically about that, about reducing your nail using this drill. It would be great if you can make a video about this

@@sonyad924 I’m a professional Nail Technician. Unless this person went to a very filthy salon, it’s highly unlikely that was the case. Fungus in the nails usually occurs 3 ways- poor hygiene, trapped water under the nail and an enhancement, or repeat introduction of contaminated tools. Removing the fungus followed by fungus treatment medicine is the way we professional technicians help a fungal infection. If it is severe, we refer the person to a physician.

Soak your feet in Epsom salt, sea salt, baking soda, tea tree essential oil, frankincense essential oil, and essential peppermint oil. Also, prepare a small spray bottle with olive oil (or other) and tea tree essential oil. Spray the toe nails before you go to bed giving them time to dry. After your toe nails are looking normal you'll only need to use tea tree occasionally.

Thank you for making this video! I would like to add that there is software suitable for health intakes. The same software that’s used for many salons, spas and massage therapy clinics. A health intake is very important, as well as continuing education, so that you know how to work on a client with certain health conditions or if you should be working in them at all. Health conditions that affect their skin, circulation and ability to heal are ones that shouldn’t be ignored and clients won’t tell you because they honestly don’t know most of the time that it even matters for the service they are receiving. In addition to being a. Ail tech for 28 years, I’m also a licensed massage therapist of 19’years and I highly recommend seeking out continuing education on massage and contraindications of massage, as well as working with problematic conditions of the feet.

Why do you brush toward the client instead of away? Aren’t you pushing the dead skin cells into the proximal fold or into the corners? Learning a lot!

If you push it towards the client in a circular motion, it actually prevents debris from getting stuck on the nail plate and in the proximal folds 🙌

Would you be able to do a video on how to incorporate these e-file techniques within a wet pedicure process? I don't think my salon will ever offer dry pedis :[ but my clients all have such terrible looking cuticles that are difficult to address when they're all soaked :0
@EricasNails2 жыл бұрын
Mention it to your salon supervisor and share our videos! What we recommend doing is doing all the cuticle work before soaking in the water.

@@EricasNails I also wanted to add these, but they insist on soaking to remove smell and dirt from the typical once in awhile client 😷. Any suggestions after a soaks been done?
@EricasNails2 жыл бұрын
@@vsheavenly68 What we recommend for cleansing and smell is using Podoexpert Shoe & Foot Deodorant at the very beginning. If there is more dirt that needs to come off- we wipe the feet with a soapy moist towel. Once the skin is saturated with water (after soaking) it does not exfoliate well with efile techniques. So if you must soak- do it after your cuticle work and efile callus reduction!
