I've just discovered your channel and I'm so pleased I have! I feel so under-educated when it comes to pedicures. My pedicure training, from which I gained my certificate, was just 1 day, as an add on to my nail tech course. A lot of my clients are elderly and I worry about being able to correctly identify contraindications, in particular fungal infection. Are the client in this video's nails fungal, or is the thickening and discoloration normal in older people? I'd love to do some additional training but here in the UK, I can't find anything between basic pedicure training and full foot health practitioner training. I don’t particularly want to train as a foot health practitioner, but I'd like to improve my knowledge and confidence in what is and what is a healthy foot and toenail.

I hear what you’re saying about the Vaseline, however would you say it’s good to use at night while you sleep to lock in moisture?

Vaseline can block your pores, doing more bad than good, so I'd recommend using a different moisturizer, like Eucerin!

Can you apply gel color on toe nails like in this case or would it weakened them?

Since these are fungal toenails, we would not apply gel without a doctor's approval.

I currently do wet pedis but love doing dry. Should i charge more for welness pedi? Should pedis like this be done dry due to the flakiness of nails? Is there a benefit of dry vs wet pedi?
