Good question. Valve service on a desmo engine is where most bikers have no idea, including myself.

Our sincere apologies for the crappy title. We didn’t have to adjust the valves this time, so we didn’t even try. Taking the top end of the engine apart to do this is beyond our skill level anyway. Again, thank you for the feedback & your support.

this was not a demo service you out a new chain and sprocketS plural plus that oil change. you might want to verify for sure somewhere back of my mind demo valves are inspected every 15,000 but not positive on that. I know this is an older video.There is someone out there that sells the computer link-up to reset the damn piaggio service light or notice. Search ducati multiprobla that poster found the needed equipment.

How do you like the Touratech cases? I have a new to me Multistrada that is just about the same spec as yours that is coming with the side cases but not the top case. Considering ordering the top case too

Big fan of the Touratech cases, definitely recommend. The top case is nice to have as an option. You can lock your helmet inside, use it for extended touring, bulky gear storage, and it serves as a backrest for a passenger.

What was the outcome of Ducati reseting service light? If they did, how much did they charge? Or did you find a way to reset it using 3rd party?

We purchased a Snap-On programming tool & reset it ourselves. It cost about $1200 used on eBay.

Engine run cooler, doesn't create more horsepower, it just need to be within the margin specified by company, unless you do some tweaks on engine.....

Every 15000 miles ...your 30000 miles on paperwork would have been 2nd Desmo service..you now need 3rd
