I love color. I know you're not a a professional but here is a quick tip. Don't put the color on the ends because it is already lightened. When you rinse the color out because it has a agent in the color where it suds automatically; the color will tone your ends out automatically. This will prevent damage in the future. Sort of like a relaxer if you're just retouching the roots no need to put it on the ends everytime. I really love your hair color : )

Fair warning - I just used these same products and the smell of ammonia is literally suffocating. Make sure the room you're dyeing in has proper ventilation. I had to add a standing fan to my bathroom while doing this. Otherwise, application was easy enough. Currently letting it sit in my hair, hopefully it turns out good!

First and foremost, thank you for watching! I remember the first time I used this dye, it turned out to be a darker blonde. But still blonde. The second time I dyed it, I got the blonder look I was going for. My hair takes dye easily I guess. Did it turn out a dark blonde for you?
@alaynachristian11377 жыл бұрын
I wish I could attach a picture but alas, youtube hasn't gone there yet haha. I started off with relatively dark brown so it probably needed more time to process than the 30ish minutes I gave it. I can't say it turned out very blonde; more like a light brown.

U cant lighten dark hair without some type of color lifting chemical process...processor, developer, lightener, bleach, call it what you want it doesn't matter your natural color will be stripped (permanently altered, weakened, damaged regardless of non microscopic appearance) in order to deposit the lighter color. It is what it is folks. If some type of color lifter/stripper was not used then u would simply buy a bottle of color... That color is gorgeous by the way
@NaturallySade7 жыл бұрын
rachray83 You are right about that. It may not be bleach, but it is lifting your natural color right out. Whether it's hi lift or bleach, we just have to be careful and take care before and after to keep the hair as healthy as possible. And thank you so much!! ❤️❤️

Hi 🤍 I have a question for you! My hair has been box dyed black for years and I’m trying to go a honey blonde without straight up bleach. I’ve stripped my hair with color oops twice this week and now I’m going to be attempting to use L’Oréal color hilights in the shade ash blonde to see how much it lightens my hair and go from there. Do you think this would work? I’m aware L’Oréal has some sort of bleach but this seems like a less damaging way to go lighted and I’m afraid of using bleach at home on my own. Also if could help out with this what toner would you recommend if my hair turns orange? I was thinking the wella t18 ash blonde so it matches? I really hope you can respond to this just your opinion would help me out so much. Thank you 🙏

Caren Baybee My hair is no longer dark and I’m still able to use this product to touch up my roots and the rest of my hair. I can’t say for sure about the orange hair, but I want to say yes. However, I don’t know the color you would get from it going from orange. It took me my 3rd time to get the color I have now. And at that time, I waited 2-3 months in between, so idk how soon you want to do it. I would just be cautious.

Tara Quinch to be honest idk how bleach works so I wouldn’t know what your results would be if you decided to do it that way. When you dyed your hair blonde like this did you use any other products cause I dyed my hair with the same hi color and same color and it did not come out like that and that the blonde that i have been looking for any suggestions
@NaturallySade7 жыл бұрын
Tabitha Medina No I didn't use any other products. But the very first time I dyed my hair this color it was a darker blonde. But as I continued to touch it up and dye it every 2-3 months(at that time) it got lighter each time. The second time I dyed it, it was the color I wanted. Now I just maintain. Did you use a 30 developer?
@tabithamedina95847 жыл бұрын
Naturally Sade do you have any other suggestions on what to do
@NaturallySade7 жыл бұрын
What color did it turn out? You could try using a toner or even a purple shampoo for blonde hair if it's brassy.
@tabithamedina95847 жыл бұрын
Naturally Sade honestly only took on the top of my hair mostly my hair is blonde already at the bottom I have the ombré and the top it brown it looks kind of golden on my roots then brown and my blonde wish I could show you a picture

Okay so when you were saying I just add on the solution, did you mean you the developer and hi color cream together?
@NaturallySade7 жыл бұрын
Alissa Turner Yes exactly. I'm sorry I didn't clarify that in the video😓 It's 2.5 oz of developer for each cream dye, mixed together.

Looove the color! Did you use this to go completely blonde or only for a touch up?
@NaturallySade5 жыл бұрын
Azarriah Sparks I’ve only used this for since I started going blonde. It gradually lifts your hair. By the 3rd time I used it, it was the perfect tone I wanted.

I know this video is old im thinking abt dying my hair this color and wanted to know if i can get a response because i wanted to know if you mixed the hi color with the developer together or did u just apply the developer on the scalp first the put the hi color on after applying the developer

So when you did this video was it your first time applying the color to your roots and that’s the results you got?
@NaturallySade5 жыл бұрын
DhopeeBooskieex3 yes I hadn’t done anything to my roots yet at all and with this dye these were my results. I have touched up my roots before this time and I had gotten the same results.
@DhopeeBooskieex35 жыл бұрын
Okay I decided to dye my hair using the same color thanks to your video. My roots were the same color as yours before the dye and I’d say the same after too. My ends were like a light brown my ends are darker tho which I expected. I’m hoping to wait a bit and dye it again and hopefully it’ll be even lighter.

@tajmahaly51207 жыл бұрын
how many times did you have to process it to lift to this color love?
@NaturallySade7 жыл бұрын
Taj Sudderth I had to do it twice. The first time I did it, it came out really light tho. Almost a medium dark blonde. And I did it over a shorter period of about 3 months in between.

hi, great job and you look lovely. You use only colour, not bleach at all, and you have that kind of blonde? i cannot belive, im gonna try it too...cuz when i bleack my hair, is gone, is not same as natural hair but if i only lets use , use a normal colour on my hiar, my hair is fine...so, if you used only blonde colour and you have that, waw....im goona buy it...to see if is really working. Do you use a toner after that, looks so beautiful.
@NaturallySade4 жыл бұрын
@Ariela Stan yes I only use this, no bleach. This hi-lift color requires you to use a 30 volume creme developer which is what helps to lighten your hair so make sure you use a 30 volume creme developer bc some people don’t even though the directions tell you to. It’s not going to lighten your hair as much as bleach would the first time but it damages your hair less. No I don’t use a toner after.
@Ariela_Soare4 жыл бұрын
@@NaturallySade Hi, thank you for your reply. Well, im gonna order it online what you just put in your description box, so i guess you also used a 30 volume creme developer. And at first you say it wont light my hair that much as bleach? btw, each time you do youre rots do you apply the colour all over your hair again to refresh it? And without any toner looks that beautiful? omg, i dream to have same colour as you without bleachin it....anyway, you are amazing, thanks God i found your video, you saved my hair :D. God bless you, you beautiful inside out :*

I am trying to get ash blonde with 30 developer , sandstone blonde and 1 cool brown dye it didn’t work 😅

I love your hair from the color to the curls..I know your not a professional but you obviously have experience with using the 30 vol..if I mixed it with red do you think it'll make a bright red or a red orange since it tends to turn orange (so I've read through some of the comments)?
@NaturallySade7 жыл бұрын
Naqweia Stowers I think it would make a bright red. And funny thing is before I started going blonde I used to dye my hair red using the loreal hi color line and I would use 30 at that time too. I forget which color I used tho.

Belinda Ramos I think it’s just my dipbrow by Anastasia that makes them look lighter bc I don’t lighten them. I use the medium brown shade.
