It's really fun to see fellow collectors using the system I use to purchase from another country: I'm from Uruguay (South America) and I use a proxy to buy stuff from the US and Europe. I receive my stuff in Miami, Florida, and then consolidate them into one package (we have some serious limitations here about how many packages and how much they cost we can import before paying huge taxes).

This is great info! I have a Sendico account but haven't ordered anything yet because I was hesitant not knowing the process and security. This video helps me a lot to understand how to use the service and I appreciate that. I'm especially happy Sendico will hold on to my purchases until I'm ready to have everything shipped at once! That's an awesome feature and so cheers to them for that! Now I just need to come up with a list of what I want (and what I can afford) to pick up and I'll be set!

I Decided to use the Mother HON for personal use since I’ve got a stockpile of Mother themed covers dating back to 2018. Once you start using a techo, its nearly impossible to stop. I love buying stuff from Japan. I remember wanting to buy stuff from Japan as a kid, but I got that much wanted privilege when I became an adult and have been happily making purchases for Japanese goods left and right. I also want to go to Japan which is on my bucket list of places to go.

I wouldn't know how to comment about other countries... But with importing to the UK (My country), particularly for more expensive purchase(s), doing this might not entirely be a great idea in one respect. As importing everything into 1 parcel could come with some massive import duties (Along with the VAT). Everything costs 20% VAT and parcels with a total value less than £135, thats all you pay. But over that, the costs pile up as you'll still be paying the VAT but additional import duties also. Those costs go significantly higher past a £600 total value. So for your UK audience (Or other countries with similar import rules), maybe split the parcels for every £135 that you spend. That way you only pay the VAT.

I appreciate the information you share, I recently discovered your channel. For some time I have been looking for an orange game cube (I had a blue one as a child but absurdly I sold it) and I liked this option of bringing them directly from Japan, since the color I want is not sold in Latam. The question, is there any store in Japan that you recommend to me to look for equipment like the Game Cube that is in very good condition? something like Near Mint? Thanks and greetings from Chile

There ought to be a service like this, but for European media, especially games. That's because some of us own older consoles that are region locked, and we don't have the necessary tools to modchip them, and there are more PAL users than NTSC worldwide. While Ebay might be a good spot for finding PAL games, the whole process used by Sendico might be helpful in finding more affordable games.

Great video! Word of Warning For those buying PVMs or CRTs etc please pay attention to where the insurance option is on the SHIPPING PROVIDER page which is before the page that has protective packaging etc. it changed location and I couldn't find it on a PVM parcel I ordered. I accidentally created the parcel, immediately asked if I could add insurance from the mistake, and was denied. It arrived broken as if it had been dropped on a corner and I'm out the cash and PVM.

Buyee allows PayPal without add money to a wallet. Probably the biggest plus. Buyee shipping prices are ridiculous. Sometimes they offer shipping coupons or coupons off the auction.

Seems great the "easy to get stuff from yapan at great deals" part, but I see fee after fee, first a fee for adding funds 3.7%(?), and then another fee per package that gets shipped to the warehouse, then import taxes when it arrives in your country (which in my country is 25% of the total value of the item INCLUDING shipping, + an additional "handling fee") so the costs add up. I will check it out some time, but I need to pay extra attention to the total costs.

I’m not sure if Sendico is the same as Buyee but the insurance in the US doesn’t really provide any protection for retro or tech items even if destroyed, notoriously it’s just for them unless it’s clothes.

@@Qwerty10254 I've bought things from Japan (from online stores like Hobbylink Japan) and the duty is hefty. The thing is though, some figure and kit boxes are massive. Definitely not be able to fit in with luggage. And I know I would splurge so much that a second suitcase wouldn't fit everything I would get.

I would definitely bring an extra suitcase with you to haul everything back. It will be cheaper. Just be sure to check the weight limits of checked baggage for your airline and also may be a good idea to bring a portable luggage scale with you too to weigh your luggage.

I've been twice so far. I usually pack half the clothes needed and do laundry while I'm there to free up space for trinkets. At least in the usa they usually ask you at customs what you've purchased and the dollar amount. My first trip I just 300 bucks and I wasn't required to pay anything extra.

Again, any video game show is horrible nowadays youtubers have early access to the event, they get the best deals and again it's an unfair competition as they buy from the youtube money, here an example he bought this LT when it was missing 5 minutes and it's something for "normal" people that works a lot to have 1k to pay, for youtubers is much easier. Than promoting and making the prices rise like crazy everywhere.
