How To EASILY Connect Your 3D Printer to a Filament Dryer

It can be very useful to 3D print directly from a filament dryer. Some methods require metal hardware to complete the setup, but I'm going to show you another way in this video. This method is especially handy if you need to join two PTFE tubes together.

I just finished this enclosure yesterday, did it all out of pla and cut the plexi myself. Came out amazing. Those files that flashforge provides are amazingly engineered. Cant wait to see how yours turns out.

Liking your setup! Did you modify the Wyze cameras focus on your printer to get a clear image so close to the AD5M print head?

I run the tube from the box to the existing tube on my X1 Carbon - but I don't join them. The filament holds the tubes together and it never pulls apart. I thought I'd need a connector, but i tried this and it has never failed. *Your milage may vary, your home may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments. All stunts performed on a closed road.

Unfortunately you used the makerworld repository. The owner Bambu Lab has a history of stealing user's data, usage and print files. Otherwise useful tips to join multiple short PTFE tubes and printing from a dry box. You can also use larger internal diameter PTFE tube for less resistance in twisty tubes. Use a heat gun/heat source to unkink the PTFE, just be careful to not melt it. Printing some strain relief to support the PTFE going into the extruder, anchoring the PTFE tube to the frame and use some stiffener wire , like 1mm piano wire, to support the power cables/PTFE tubes to the extruder might reduce risks for jams or pinching when you get into the hundreds or thousands of printing hours.
