Love both Mandalas! I’m notorious at work for doodling during meetings. People tell me they love to watch me and they are always surprised when I pipe up with comments that show I’m clearly super engaged in the meeting. Doodling means I’m not checking my email, getting distracted by looking around the room. Now that I’m teleworking full time I can watercolor and doodle during meetings! You’ve been such a tremendous inspiration. Thank you!

I really appreciate both mandalas that you showed, but I have to agree that the more neutral one is quite beautiful and calming - they both have very different effects, but are both beautiful in their own way!

I’m not sure how spiritual you are but the process of “loosing yourself in your work” is described by Bashar as “act every moment that you can, on your highest excitement to the best of your ability with no insistence on a particular outcome” is the way you connect to your higher self and live your true purpose. Because that feeling of loosing time when you work on a passion, let’s you know you are on the right path. ❤️❤️❤️

Hey CeeCee! Both pieces are so beautiful! The one you painted for this video is my favorite...but just as you said you wished you had stopped before adding the extra color, I agree with you! It has the bright colors but was still soft and calming. For me I think sometimes I don’t know when to stop! Anyway I enjoyed the video and the art you did! I think I will subscribe and see more of your work! Stay safe and healthy!

So beautiful 💕. Drawing, doodling while I’m listening is my favorite thing to do! I doodle during sermons when I’m not holding a squirming grandchild 😏, when I draw little pictures that go a long with the sermon my recall is phenomenal. When I go on trips and journal draw the trip I remember so many details, I really think teachers should incorporate drawing into lessons.

Beautiful pieces! I like to paint mandalas as well, but have an opposite approach. I start out with circles of watercolor and then add patterns with Aqua Drop, gouache, paintpens, gelpens aso. I paint or draw my mandalas most time freehand, it is relaxing nevertheless. But I need to try your version, I own square and even round watercolor paper which would be perfect.

I really enjoyed this video, and I agree that focusing on an art piece takes the mind away from the distractions of ‘real’ life. I don’t usually like silence, listening to music or audio is hearing creativity so it stimulates our creative brain, at least that is what I believe. Your piece turned out beautifully and I think you liked it more when it first dried because it was more ethereal. What I have observed in your art is that you like to leave something to the imagination so when it was fully defined you felt something different. I’m sure you felt happier once you added the gold, LOL! 😁 Thank you for demonstrating how to create mandalas and stay safe! 🙏🏼

I know what you are trying to get at with the non precise idea. Maybe...think of it as that you are not making a "mechanically engineered perfect rendering". It has human life quality added to the piece. It vibrates and exudes life which has been imparted to the work. Very beautiful! Anybody with a spirograph or computer can make designs but you have created ART and it emits feeling and love for creating.

I truly adore your first one. The second one is beautiful but my internal response is not the same. I think it is because of that imperfect symmetry you were talking about. The first one has a feeling of flowing with the mandala structure anchoring it in the peacefulness. Love the experience.
