In this video I will show you how o generate a fill pattern for Revit from a 2d sketch. The pattern can then easily be exported as PAT file to be used as a hatch in AutoCAD.

hey hi, Can you please suggest how to achieve custom Curtain grid staggered pattern other than those in the drop down menu.

Can you create a randomized pixelated pattern? Let’s say for a tile wall, you want to have 3 different colors of tile, 1/3 of each color and mixed randomly on the wall. Any tips on how to do this? Each tile can have a different hatch pattern, sure, but I’m wondering how you could use pyRevit to randomize the pattern

In Pyrevit, Make Pattern, the command below Make Pattern is Batch Import PAT Files. From there you can load as many as you need.
