Black Myth Wukong has some of the hardest bosses and after the successful takedown of bosses like White Clad Noble in Chapter 1 and Tiger Vanguard in Chapter 2 , in this as easy as cheese video , we are taking on Captain Lotus Vision from Chapter 3 in the Pagoda Realm
Captain Lotus Vision is an optional Boss in Wukong and you can find this boss near the Upper Pagoda Realm and even though this is an optional boss , you wanna defeat him as you can then unlock all the prison gates in the pagoda realm which has many hidden secrets and also gets you one of the strongest weapon in the game . Captain Lotus vision is not easy , it has many different moves and one move which is an instant kill but there is a way to completely avoid that attack and in this boss guide im gonna show you that

This boss really is awful , he is unbearable at most times

At a certain point I just stopped running up to him. Just stood there and let him shoot at me, timed my dodges and did not try to fight him until I could reliably dodge almost every single thing he threw at me. It only takes a few minutes to learn. The faster moving sprites that he sends three bursts, you have to basically let them clip your character before dodging to get a perfect dodge. The slower sprites just run to one side to kite around them. The super fast laster beams that usually come just before the slow sprites, dodge the split second the seal on his shoulder flashes and it'll be a perfect dodge every time. For his ground explosions just take a few steps back from him and wait for them to finish, perfect chance to charge a heavy attack. For the slow laser beam at the beginning of his second phase, you can simply hug the far left or right wall when you see him start it, then just as he starts tracking with it, sprint to the opposite wall and hit dodge every time you see his seals flash for the fast laser beam. After that when he drops the 4 laser totems I just wait until they go away and try to dodge through them. When he goes to the middle and triggers a bunch of random beams just walk around making sure not to touch them while also outrunning the very tiny wisps that are following you. Every attack after this middle phase is pretty much the same as before, just a bit faster and maybe more projectiles. He's really not that tough of a boss, it's just hard to get acclimated to his attacks because up until this point in the game no enemy has had an attack even remotely similar to his movesets. Dude had me raging for sure before I learned his stuff.

@@evangelicae_rationis apparently he is not. I thought I hit a dead end where I needed to kill him to continue past a seal but it ended up just being a chest room. From what I've read you can make it to the boss at the top of this pagoda area before killing him. Just make sure you kill all 9 lantern head things before taking on the boss at the top of the pagoda. It's a missable item/achievement.

You can find this boss near the upper Pagoda shrine , simply turn back from the shrine and drop down .
