Why do you replace the window regulator? what is the problem with the window and how you came up to replace the window regulator and not the power window motor? thanks

The motor is not the problem. You'll be replacing the window regulator

@@cromagnon305 in most cases you would just need to change the gear, and I know a guy here who 3D prints anything. The problem is you can not unwrap and rewrap the cables to install a new gear.

ALL four of my window regulators in my 2016 limited have failed due to a simple cheap gear part that is crumbling due to age and materials. Not because of usage but cause that little off white came gear in the middle is complete crap. Yes all your window regulators will fail too and they run $225-$265 for each front and $200-$240 for the rears. With there was a class action lawsuit to add this into the extended warranty beyond the 60k miles that Hyundai gives since this is their fault for cheap parts and workmanship.
